Privacy notice
This notice covers the details you give us through this website, mainly the quote form. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. MNF Metals & Forming Private Limited decides how these details are used, which makes us the "data fiduciary" under the Act.
What the quote form collects
Your name, phone number, email address if you give one, city or site location, what you need, the quantity, the month you need it by, your message and any drawing you attach.
While you browse our site, your browser keeps a short list of the pages you look at, how long you spend on each and the website that sent you to us. This list stays on your device. It reaches us only if you send an enquiry, and we use it so the person who calls you knows which products you were looking at. We keep it with your enquiry for the same period.
When the form is sent we also record the date and time, the page you sent it from, your IP address and your browser type. We use these to stop spam and misuse of the form, and for nothing else.
Why we collect it
To call or WhatsApp you about your enquiry, price the job, send you a quote and follow up on it. You give your consent by ticking the box on the form. We do not use your details for newsletters or marketing lists, and we do not add your number to any broadcast group.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 24 months from the date you send them, so that we can pick up a quote again if the project restarts. After that the enquiry and any drawing are deleted. If you place an order, the details needed for invoices and GST records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Who sees it
Our sales desk and directors. If your enquiry is about a roof audit, reroofing or a maintenance contract, we pass it to MNF Projects LLP, which does that work.
Your details also pass through the companies that run the site for us: our web host, our email provider, and Cloudflare, which protects the site and runs the check that stops automated spam. They handle the data only to provide that service.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.
Your rights
Under the Act you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, and ask us to erase it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will then stop contacting you and delete your enquiry unless the law requires us to keep it. You can also nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to act.
To do any of this, email mail@mnfmetals.com from the address or with the phone number you used. We reply within 48 hours.
Complaints
Send any complaint about how we handle your data to our grievance contact at mail@mnfmetals.com, or write to MNF Metals & Forming Private Limited, 1313 Ansal Tower, 38 Nehru Place, New Delhi 110019. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising scripts.
When the quote form shows the Cloudflare security check, Cloudflare may store a small item in your browser to confirm you are a person. It is not used for advertising.
Children
The site is meant for businesses and adults placing enquiries. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date below.
