Before you send it
What should I send for roofing or cladding sheets?
The profile if you know it (2 Rib, 3 Rib or 4 Rib standing seam), the thickness, the colour and the sheet lengths, or just the roof area in square metres and the site location. If you are not sure about thickness or profile, tell us what the building is for and we will suggest one on the call. Sheets go up to 12 m long for road transport.
What should I send for C or Z purlins?
The section (web depth, flange and lip), the thickness, the material and the lengths with quantities. If the purlins need punching, send the punching drawing or a marked-up sketch. We roll C purlins from 1.0 to 3.0 mm thick and Z purlins from 1.2 to 3.0 mm, web depth 80 to 300 mm, up to 12 m long.
What should I send for a pre-engineered building?
The length and width of the building, the eave height, the site location and what it will be used for. Tell us about any crane (its capacity, span and hook height), any mezzanine, and any extra load on the roof such as solar panels. A layout drawing helps, but plenty of PEB enquiries start with a plot plan and a few numbers.
What happens after I send it?
Someone from our sales desk usually calls you back the same working day to go over profile, thickness, coating and quantity before anything is priced. Sheets and purlins are priced per square metre or per kg. A PEB gets a budgetary quote first and a detailed quote after a site visit. Your details are used only for this enquiry, as set out in our privacy notice.
